Soaking in Deception

by Robert Staniford On Friday last I attended a healing prayer meeting, a group attached to a local church.  All began well, with sharing from scriptures along with coffee and chat.  As the meeting progressed one of those attending lay on the floor and the hostess got up and started playing a CD.  The "worship" music was a mix of new age ambient with hypnotic phrasing.  The red flag went up within me as I started praying quietly in tongues while consciously seeking God for wisdom and direction.
